Our Location
The cliff top footpaths offer spectacular views over the sea and the village boasts several National Trust properties, as well as two excellent pubs providing meals ranging from bar snacks to fine dining. "Baldash Cottage" lies about two miles above the village, at the end of a quiet lane just off the A3052 road about half way between Colyford and Sidford.

Nearby Attractions "Baldash Cottage" lies in a particularly beautiful part of the country. This offers you a range of walks along the coast and across the moors and hills of Devon. You will also be well located for trips to coastal resorts on Branscombe Bay and Lyme Bay, including Beer, Sidmouth, Seaton, Lyme Regis and Exmouth, as well the cathedral city of Exeter and the town of Honiton, with its lace and antique shops. For the active, golf and horse riding are available in the area. If you wish, we can help arrange bicycle hire. Or for something more unusual, you could visit nearby attractions such as the Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary, Bicton Park Botanical Gardens or Pecorama at Beer. |

Branscombe village is located roughly midway between Seaton and Sidmouth, on the lovely southern coast of East Devon. The village itself lies in a valley about half-a-mile from the beach at Branscombe Mouth, between the hills formed by the Jurassic Coast cliffs overlooking Branscombe Bay.
