Seaton Tramway

If you have never ridden on a tram, the Seaton Tramway is a unique attraction, running from Seaton (see above) to up the valley of the River Axe to Colyford and Colyton.

The tramway uses the track bed of the former railway branch from Seaton Junction to the town, following the closure of the line in 1966.  Since then, a growing fleet of trams - now numbering 14 - has been amassed, representing many of the former tramway systems in the UK.  Trams run daily from April to October, with reduced service in winter.  (Find out more now.)
