Perhaps you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst enjoying the countryside or beach, or whilst pursuing a leisure activity or sightseeing - maybe you simply need somewhere quiet and peaceful to hide away.  Whatever the season and whatever the weather, please be assured of the warmest welcome when you arrive.

We have completely refurbished “Baldash Cottage” during the last few years, with all essential work completed in time for the 2008 Summer Season.  Wherever possible, the rebuilding and decoration used locally-sourced, traditional high-quality materials.  The furnishing is to the highest standard, again using traditional designs, fittings and fabrics to the maximum extent.

Anyone with an interest in traditional thatched English country cottages will find their stay at “Baldash Cottage” truly memorable.  Whatever your interest, we are confident you will enjoy our beautiful and peaceful location above Branscombe Village.

A £50·00 deposit is required on all advanced bookings.  Deposits are not refundable but, providing at least 72 hours notice of cancellation is given prior to arrival, the deposit can be carried forward towards another visit within the following 6 months.

Full payment must be made at latest immediately before departure at the end of your booking.

Payments must be made by cheque and/or cash.  We regret that credit and cash card facilities are not available.

If you have any special dietary requirements (eg. vegetarian, alergies), please tell us at the time of booking.

No smoking indoors in any of the rooms.

Children under the age of six years cannot be accommodated.

There are no facilities for dogs, cats or other pets.
